VDP is a digital printing technique that lets you create hundreds of unique printed items—each personalised with different text or graphics. Whether you're creating mailing address labels, barcode stickers, or custom labels for packaging, VDP makes every piece feel one-of-a-kind.

The 4 step guide to adding variable data to your labels

As well as being able to use this service when printing your labels at home or the office, you can now use the VDP service with our professionally printed sheet labels.

Step 1: Choose your label

Configure your label shape, size, material and quantity. Please note that this service is only available for the 'Sheets' format and standard sizes and shapes. Not available for custom shapes and sizes.

Step 2: Open Design & Print

Click the 'Start designing or upload' button and choose 'Create'.

Step 3: Add your variable data

  • You can either choose the QR and Barcodes option in the left sidebar and provide your variable date in one of these ways:
    • Enter manually
    • Spreadsheet
    • Sequential Number
  • Or you can manually add designs via the Navigator to the right.

Step 4: Check and review

  • Check your data by clicking each of the thumbnails in the Navigator.
  • Click 'Next' to review printing options. Here you can specify how many labels per design you want printed.
