My name is Ellen, and I’m a 21 year old portrait artist based in the UK. Art has always been a part of my life, but it wasn’t until the Covid-19 lockdown that I began to take it seriously. What started as a childhood hobby-drawing my dog-has since evolved into a deep passion, as I focused on refining my skills and experimenting with new techniques.

In 2020, I created my Instagram account to share my work and connect with a wider audience. This platform has not only allowed me to showcase my progress but also helped me recognize how far I’ve come, something that’s often hard to see in the day-to-day. Through social media I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with incredible businesses, including Avery, which has enabled me to explore new creative avenues.

Over the past three years, I’ve balanced taking on commissions while pursuing a Fine Art degree. Additionally, I’ve ventured into creating greeting cards-an aspect of my work I find incredibly rewarding. From design to packaging, I thoroughly enjoy the entire process and am excited to continue exploring this creative path.
