Get your Promotional Stickers Ready for your Sale
Preparing for a sale? You’ve come to the right place!
Promotional stickers, sale stickers and price stickers are going to be essential, and we’re here to help you create the customised stickers you.
We hope that your next sale is a big success. So in this article we’ve put together some advice on how to manage your sale along with ideas for promotional stickers.
Preparing for your Sale
First, a word about sales – they’re not just a way to clear out old stock to make way for new stock. A sale can be a great marketing opportunity, whether you promote it through advertising, social media posts or other means.
One of the secrets to running a successful sale is making sure there are some really great deals on offer. Then your sale can attract new customers and encourage customer loyalty, whether you have your own shop or you’re selling products through other people’s outlets.
Once you’ve decided on how the discounts will work, the next step is to prepare your promotional stickers. This is where we come in with high quality printing, durable labels and fast delivery.
Sale labels can not only grab people’s attention, but also give them the information they need to make a purchasing decision. If you’re running a busy shop, you may not be able to answer customers’ questions as quickly as you’d like, so prices, discounts and other promotions need to be clearly displayed on your stickers.
If you’re ready to get started,go straight to the Promotional Stickers page.
Do you want to create eye-catching labels with the word ‘sale’ on them? Sale labels and stickers can be placed on products, as well as on shelving or other displays. Here are some key tips to ensure your sales stickers are spot on.
1. Chose a colour for your sales stickers
The colour should attract attention and either tie in with or contrast well with your brand colours. Red, yellow, pink and orange are the brightest colours and most easily seen from a distance.
2. Circle and scallop shapes work well
Round labels are often used for small sales stickers, and it’s easy to see why. The circle shape adds a real pop of colour. Our new scallop shape stickers (a circle with a scalloped edge), is also perfect for small sales stickers.
3. Measure your sales sticker area carefully
Don’t guess the area where your stickers will go – always measure it! Avery WePrint round labels are available in a wide range of diameter sizes, ranging from 19mm to 69mm. The new scallop shape labels have a diameter of 40mm – ideal for most products and display units.
4. Use window and wall stickers
Don’t forget to let everyone know that there’s a sale on! For sale window stickers or wall stickers, simply use larger-size labels and customise them with your sales messages. Rectangle stickers are available in a wide range of sizes up to A4. You can use the Waterproof material if you want stickers outside.
Do you want to print the price on your stickers? If you have lots of products priced at the same amount, customised price tag stickers can make a great impression.
Make sure that your price label stickers match or contrastwith your branding for a professional and consistent look. It’s easy to createa price sticker design using the Avery WePrint design tool. Alternatively, you can upload a finished design as a PDF, JPG or PNG file.
Many businesses use price stickers in sales to highlight the discounts. They do this either by showing the previous price crossed out with the new sales price or by including the words ‘was’ and ‘now’ on the sticker with the old and new prices.
While round stickers are most often used as price stickers, square or rectangle stickers can be ideal if you’re showing both the original and discounted prices.
Alternatively, you might also want to create stickers where the original price has a handwritten slash through it with the new price written in hand. And if you need customised stickers but have lots of differently priced items to label, writing on your price stickers in pen could be the solution.
Writing by hand on sales stickers can be very effective, but make sure you have selected the right label material. As there’s such a wide range of pens available, it’s not possible to say exactly which pens work best on which sticker material.
Generally speaking, the best sticker materials for writing on are Paper (natural or matt finish), Brown Kraft Paper, and Textured Cream Paper. Some permanent markers and biros also work on the Waterproof material.
We hope you’ve found this information useful and that your upcoming sale is a real success.
