Instructions: You may have mailing lists in different programs or in an old address book. In any case, you’ll want to gather and enter all those contacts into a single list in a database or spreadsheet program, such as Microsoft Outlook®. It’s a one-time effort that will save you time in the long run.
Instructions: Highlight the column names and rows with the names and addresses that you would like to print on your address labels.
Instructions: While still working within your Microsoft® Office program, click on the Avery icon on your toolbar to start the Avery Wizard Software. Click Next to start a new project.
Instructions: Enter the product number or description of the Avery product you’re using, then click the Search button. Choose your product from the list, then click Next.
Instructions: You'll find a variety of template options to choose from, including blank templates and pre-designed templates. Click on the template you want to use, then click Next.
Instructions: Delete the placeholder text. Select the field names on the right and click Add Field to Layout. Click this button once for each field name.
Instructions: Choose whether you want your addresses to fill the label sheet down the column or to fill across the row. You can click on Print Preview to see how your project will print.
Instructions: Your mailing list is now formatted in an address label document that will open in Microsoft Word when you are ready to print.
