Create Well-Organised Professional Filing and Storage
Organising projects or filing documents can be challenging. But with the right tools, it's simple to keep things neat and organised, without spending lots of time. All you need are Avery® Ready Index™ Dividers and free Avery Templates. Just follow these simple, step-by-step directions.
Step 1: Find a Template
Get started by downloading a free Avery Template for Microsoft® Word from our Templates & Software section.
Step 2: Select Your Specific Product
In the Search Templates & Software field, enter your software code to find the right template (eg L7411-5 for an Ready Index - 5 Tabs). Alternatively, select Blank Templates or Pre-Designed Templates from the left hand navigation, and narrow down your search using the Printable Indexing, Dividers, Speciality Products category.
Step 3: Download Your Template
Once you've selected your template, click the Download button. Save the template on your computer, then open it.
Step 4: Customise Your Template
To customise your table of contents sheet, in the Apply text section, just select Table of contents. Then you can type your titles once in each of the fields. You may also customise your table of content sheet by printing additional text on the left hand side (a heading, presentation date) or by adding images (perhaps your company logo).
Step 5: Format
You can also change the font style, size, and colour of your text. If you want to make any changes, click OK when you've finished customising your table of contents sheet. Your Microsoft Word document can now be revealed and modified.
Step 6: Print
We suggest printing your design on a blank sheet of paper before putting your Avery sheet in your printer. Then print. You can also save your template on your computer for future use. Your filing is now perfect!
